Eight sections instead of eleven

The sidebar now follows the SEO lifecycle. Publish, Pages, Performance, Fix and Links replace scattered sections.

The sidebar now lists eight sections instead of eleven, in the order you work: Keywords and Content to plan, Publish to ship, Pages and Performance to measure, Fix, Local and Links to improve.

What moved where

  • Publish combines the calendar with indexing. Its tabs are Schedule, Log, Coverage and Sitemaps. A published article and its index status live in one place.
  • Pages gives every URL on the site one row: index status, clicks, position, open issues and refresh state. Open a row to read everything about that page in the detail panel.
  • Performance combines rankings with AI visibility. Its tabs are Search, AI answers and Competitors.
  • Fix collects the issues from every crawl in one queue, worst first. The Runs tab holds the runs that found them.
  • Links combines your authority profile with link building. Its tabs are Profile, Opportunities and Pipeline.

Addresses you can read

Every page now lives at a readable address: /<workspace>/<site>/<section>, for example /studio/blog/publish/schedule. Paste a link into chat or email, and the reader knows which site and which section it concerns.

An old address still opens. It redirects once to its new home, so bookmarks, saved reports and emailed links keep working. Renamed sections, ID-based URLs and every legacy path follow the same rule.

Fewer tabs

The sections had 36 tabs between them; they now have 23, and no section has more than five. What disappeared as a tab became a sub-view inside a section or a filter on a table. Where two tabs answered the same question about the same keyword, one view now answers it.

Why the change

One URL used to appear in four sections: index status, Search Console, audit and refresh each had their own page about it. One keyword question could take a tour of three sections. The new map keeps the data where the question starts. Pages answers "how is this URL doing". Performance answers "where do I rank, and do AI answers cite me". Fix answers "what is broken".

What stays

Today and the assistant keep their pinned places at the top. Local stays for sites with a local business profile. Workspaces keep their own settings, members and jobs pages, and the sites rail still lists every site in the workspace you are in.
